Song meaning of Beware by Big Sean (Ft. Jhené Aiko & Lil Wayne)

Oh Big Sean, where do we even begin with "Beware"? It's the classic story of a guy who got his heartbroken by a woman, and now he's warning all the other guys out there to be careful. But really, he should be warning himself to not give his heart to a woman who will break it and then go on a rampage tearing everything they had apart. Sean is out here praying to a black sky and looking for answers from the stars, but why not try just talking to the girl? Maybe then he wouldn't have to keep his phone on silent and avoid her calls. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne comes in and reminds us that these hoes are jealous and they don't want to see us together. But then he goes off on a tangent about long hair and hairless pussies, so we'll just leave that one alone. All in all, "Beware" is a cautionary tale for both men and women: be careful who you give your heart to, and don't be afraid to communicate with your partner (and maybe avoid partying with hoes?).
