Song meaning of Schultenbräu by Donnie & Chantal Janzen

Ah, the classic tale of a holiday romance and the love affair with a beer. Chantal reminisces about the time she met her Schultenbräu in Tirol. He kept her warm in the snowy mountains and she found him "supertoll" (which is German for super cool, not super toll booth). Their love affair may have been short-lived, but it was hotter than fried food, which is pretty hot. Donnie joins in by boasting about having ninety-nine balloons but not one can compare to his love of Schultenbräu. They go out in Amsterdam, getting wild and drinking Wodka Redbull. Schultenbräu always has a place next to his "bal gehakt" (which is Dutch for meatball, not ball sack). With Schultenbräu in hand, they can relive their youth when they were "dumm" (which is German for dumb, not dumbbells). Donnie even feels like the king of the snack world, from "Snackenbauer" to "bittergarnituur" (which is Dutch for appetizers). All in all, Schultenbräu may not be the fountain of youth, but it sure makes for a wild and crazy good time. Prost, or as they say in the Netherlands, "plop!"
