Well, well, well, here we have Drake and Jay-Z talking about that good old American dream, cash. In Part I, they talk about how money rules everything around them and how real music is the only thing that lasts, unlike the fickle trends of disco and rock music. They just went into the studio and did it, with champagne flowing compliments of the company. Drake brags about his success and how his old high school classmates are working with their boring old parents, while he holds all the cards and wants to play chess. Naturally, authentic and with no gimmicks, because he's above that nonsense. Jay-Z comes in with his two cents, flexing his yellow diamonds, international business deals, and knowledge of Mandarin and Japanese. He's got enough money to make it rain and create millionaires out of thin air, all while representing Roc La Familia. In Part II, Drake rants about how he's the big homie and doesn't need anyone trying to "lil bro" him. He's done his homework on the rap game and knows he's doing it better than anyone else. Drake is also feeling himself so much that he suggests putting more mirrors around so he can stare at himself. He reminisces about his humble beginnings, rapping in the backroom with Jas and how Wayne came along and pulled him out of obscurity. Ultimately, Drake just did it because it was something to do, and he's just being true to himself. Too bad Paris, who used to be in his life, is now busy being a mom.
