Well, well, well, look who we have here? Another love song? Great, just what we needed! How original! Frankie Valli is crooning about how he can't take his eyes off someone who's just "too good to be true". Hmm.. Maybe they're wearing a Scooby Doo mask, or it's a case of beer goggles, who knows! He even goes so far as to compare them to "Heaven to touch", which is a bit creepy, in my opinion. But hey, to each their own, right? And he better hope they're not fake, because he wants to hold them so much! Sounds like someone needs a hug. And then he goes on to thank God that he's alive, which is all fine and dandy, but let's not forget that he's still alive during a global pandemic, so maybe he should focus his gratitude elsewhere. At least he's not alone, because he's got this unnamed person to keep him warm on those "lonely nights". Oh, and let's not forget the classic line of "trust in me when I say". Sure, because when someone tells you to trust them, what could possibly go wrong? So yeah, in summary, Frankie Valli can't take his eyes off this person who's too good to be true, but he's really hoping they're not a figment of his imagination, or worse, a serial killer.
