Ah, good ol’ Noah Kahan. You gotta love this guy's unique voice, it's like he's always on the verge of tears but trying to hold it in. In “The View Between Villages - Extended,” he’s clearly feeling some type of way. He's driving down a road, taking in the fresh air, and reminiscing about being seventeen again. He's not scared of death anymore because he's got dreams again. Which is a good thing, because for a minute there, I thought he was gonna off himself on the side of the road or something. But don't worry, he’s got his grip on the wheel. The car's in reverse, and he's driving past ghosts with their arms extended, which is kind of creepy. But hey, who hasn't seen ghosts while driving, am I right? Anyway, he's back between villages, and everything’s still. So, what does it all mean? I have no idea, but I think it's about the importance of small town communities. Or maybe it’s a metaphor for the ups and downs of life. Or perhaps it’s just a stoned guy having a weird dream. Who knows? But one thing's for sure, Noah Kahan definitely feels things deeply.
