Song meaning of Сон разума (Dream Of Mind) by Слава КПСС (Slava KPSS)

Oh, boy! Slava KPSS is taking us on a wild ride with his song "Dream of Mind." From the intro, it's clear that things are about to get real weird. Is that a reference to 'The Room' with "What a story, Mark"? Anyway, Slava starts off talking about his heart being frozen, which makes him wonder if he's the stuff of legends or if he was shot by a bullet and has now become a panda bear. I mean, who hasn't found themselves in that situation, am I right? He then goes on to talk about being a writer and how he's still alive, and everyone will be shocked that he's not dead yet. Slava must be pretty badass if he's able to pull off a look made of ivory towers and the beads of Hasan Sabbah. And apparently, he's been in a coma for months, and the doctor can't understand a word he's saying - sounds like he's been trying out his Parseltongue skills. Slava's pulse is so strong it makes him feel like he's a "moskal" (a Slavic slur against the Russians), whatever that means. But the most crucial bit of information is that Mark, the person Slava's talking to, is eternal. That's right. He will live forever - and he's not going to let anyone forget it. The chorus is all about how dreams and monsters go hand in hand, and it's impossible to know if Tony Stark, Donnie Darko, or the Masons have anything to do with it. Hmm. Intriguing. In the second verse, Slava starts talking about Freudian archetypes or Lacanian gaps (whatever that is). He takes us through a feverish dream where he's watched different TV shows and has sex with a mayor, who's now his guru, but they broke up after three billboards on the border of Gorgorod. Slava's getting all kinds of literary on us, referencing Faulkner among other things. Apparently, Slava's been waiting for someone to rebel so he can finally exact his revenge - he's like the Count of Monte Cristo, but with a mountain. And, according to him, his Alice moans beneath him. Hah. We ain't getting any sleep. The song ends with Slava telling Mark not to wake up and warning him that there's no room for him in Gorgorod. Whether Mark is on board with any of this is unclear, but who cares? This wild ride is entertaining enough on its own.
