Song meaning of Favorite Song (Remix) by Toosii & Khalid

Well, well, well, if it isn't the classic "I'm singing about a girl who doesn't know what she wants but I'm here to tell her I'll give her everything she needs" kind of song. And to make it even worse, we have two guys singing about it together. How original! Toosii sings about how he sees through the girl's facade and she just needs someone to love her for who she is, without any makeup or lashes. Khalid comes in with his "I care for you" line and promises to never turn his back. Wow, such romantic words, much swoon. But hey, at least they're being genuine and not just trying to get in her pants, right? I mean, they want to wash her back while sitting in the shower, for crying out loud! That's true love right there. All in all, it's a generic love song that makes me want to vomit glitter.
