Ah, Paramore's "The Only Exception," a heartfelt anthem about love and daddy issues. So, as the story goes, when the lead singer Haley Williams was just a wee child, she witnessed her dear ol' dad throw a tantrum at the wind. Poor guy, he must have really hated breezes! Anyways, this emotional spectacle led to a broken heart (literally, he had to whip out the duct tape) and little Haley made a solemn vow that she would never sing about love unless it actually existed. She clings onto reality with a kung-fu grip, desperately begging for some evidence that this whole love thing isn't just a figment of her wild imagination.
